eight immortals of china

i am 1/4 chinese although to most i look irish which is a part of me too, but i've always embraced and been facinated by that part of myself it's kinda my strength and balence if that makes any sence. i've always been facinated by the mythology and folklore of the far east, this drawing is depicting the eight immortals of chinese folklore. i unfortunatly don't know all the names of these, i know the central woman is the moon goddess kwan yen, to her right is the god of longevity, the emporer looking man is the god of wealth i beleive and good luck is to his left. the symbols in the upper right hand corner are happiness,peace and tranquility. this piece was colored in copic markers. enjoy.
