I saw this very enticing pose of one of my favorite porn stars Jesse Ares online and I just had to use it for my next super hero pinup. I've been very intrigued by the edition of hyperion to the avengers in the new avengers books in the marvel now line. so I decided to do him in this slightly provocative pose. this was a amalgamation of styles and media were used on this one. it was drawn in ink then the figure was colored in copic markers, the character was then accented and blended in corel painter 12. the starry background was totally painted with corel painter 12. this one went really fast I did it in about 4 to 6 hours. I think it turned out pretty well how do you like it?

For me the backround works,very well with the pose,and the artwork is dam good,iguess the only thing is the slight orange tone of the skin,but apart frm that great job!

The lighting and coloring is pretty nice. The background is also pretty ok. It makes the character really stand out nicely!

The combination of digital and traditional is really nicely done in this :heart: The only thing I would say is that I think some of the white is a little too soft - particularly on his chest/torso and around the fastening of his cape - and makes it look blurry in comparison to the rest of the image.

Very good job all in all, unlike others I don't dislike the background; it makes the character stand out more thanks to the clever choice of using complementary colors. I tend to like contrasts! The anatomy is very well done, the pose is pretty funny as people usually don't think of a superhero while scratching his nuts! I like your irony very much! All in all it's a very well done piece, for sure suggestive and eyecatching!

The anatomy is pretty good, only serious problem I have with this piece is the skin tone is slightly orange. ^^;
